The Manual Rates Management process is where the manual rate records are generated for each day in the selected period and loaded into MiiNT. The rate value is prorated over the number of days or applied to each daily record within the period.
The Load Manual Rates process places a dollar value against the individual daily records generated. The rate period value determines whether the value will be split or applied to each daily manual rates record. To run the Load Manual Rates process follow these steps.
Select the Manual Rates Management menu, from the Rates Management menu.

Select the Period to be used for the process.
Note: The start and end dates for the selected period will be placed into the date fields between the Period field and the Load Manual Rates button.The calendar to be used for the rate is established in the Rate Category.
In the above example the New Category has been selected for the August 2014 period .
Select the Load Manual Rates button to generate the manual rates for the period. A manual rate for each day in the period will be created, with the value of the rate prorated across the daily records or applied to each daily record.
Note: A progress bar will appear whilst the rates are being processed displaying the current situation.
The results are automatically saved, displaying a list of the rate groups where manual rates have been defined.
In the above example the New Group has been listed because manual rates have been generated for August 2014.
Select the New Group rate group to display a summary of the manually calculated rate records.
In the sample above a summary is displayed of the Driller Contractors manual rates record.
Note: There may be a minor difference in the Calculated Value and the rate value, because of rounding and the number of days in the selected period.
Select the arrow to expand and display the individual daily manual rate records.
In the sample above a Driller Contractor record have been displayed for each day in the selected period with the monthly rate prorated over the number of days in the period, as the rate period was set to Monthly.
Note: There may be a minor difference in the Calculated Value and the rate value, because of rounding and the number of days in the selected period.
